Commerce City Gas offers a financing program for a new heat system or gas appliance. If the customer needs gas installed in a home, the City of Commerce can do that. There will be a fee for installment. Commerce City can finance up to $6500. Any amount over $6500 will be paid by the homeowner.  The monthly payment is added to your utility bill. If the city finances $6500 over a term of 60 months, the payment is approximately $109. The homeowner can pay off the balance anytime. If a homeowner sells the home, they will be responsible for the balance owed before Commerce City will disconnect its services. Commerce City has On Bill Financing for new and older homes. No credit check will be run on the homeowner, but must have a good payment history in the past 24 months.
